Quiz Gozo is a general knowledge quiz — geography, history, science, arts, sports — designed to never give the exact same round twice in a row. Here's how it really works, behind the scenes.

A large question bank

The quiz relies on a bank of 100 multiple-choice questions, each with four possible answers, only one of which is correct. This bank deliberately covers varied topics rather than a single domain, so the quiz stays accessible to everyone, regardless of their interests.

A random draw for every round

Rather than going through the 100 questions in order (which would make each round endless and repetitive), the game randomly draws 10 different questions for every new round. The draw is without replacement: it's impossible to get the same question twice in a single round. From one round to the next, though, the draw starts completely from scratch, so the same questions can reappear someday, but rarely in the same order or combination.

Scoring

Each correct answer earns one point. At the end of the 10 questions, your final score is shown out of 10. There's no penalty for a wrong answer — the goal is to stay fun, not discouraging.

Why not more than 10 questions per round?

It's a deliberate format choice: a quiz that's too long gets tiring and makes people give up before the end. Ten questions wrap up in one to two minutes, which fits well with the "mini-game" spirit of the rest of the site — a short break rather than a long session.
